Collection: Alpine plants

The Engadin, a high alpine valley in Switzerland, impresses with its diverse flora, which varies greatly from the valley floor to the high mountain regions. Dense pine and larch forests dominate the lower elevations, while alpine meadows thrive at higher altitudes, boasting a colorful array of flowers such as alpine roses, gentian, and edelweiss. Especially in spring and summer, the meadows transform into a sea of blossom. Typical of the region are the Swiss stone pines, hardy pines that survive in the barren heights. This flora is not only a breathtaking sight, but also a popular motif on the souvenirs and decorative items we offer in our shop in Samedan.
